Two years ago today, it was a Monday afternoon, and I was just waking up from my first “in-my-own-bed” sleep in three weeks. We had arrived home at 3am, after driving 13 hours from Cincinnati, Ohio — the last stop on our cross-country road trip. It was the most amazing experience of our lives. (The trip, that is — not just the drive home. ;) )
