Thirteen minutes to write… Annnnnnd, GO!

So, wow, okay — I’m a Blogger, MIA. I’ve given up even trying to fulfill my obligations for BlogHer, so I closed my account there… Got a check for all of $7, but hey — it’s $7 I didn’t have before, and with the way I consume over-priced coffee drinks, I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth, believe me.

So I’m sort of off-light from work this week, seeing as how I work for a high school and the little monsters have their winter break this week. (And, of course, I say “monsters” with all the love and affection in my heart, because oh em gee! they make me laugh like you have no idea. Really. They are wonderful.) I, however, do not have the time off from Public Allies, but it works out — I get to spend my time at the public library in town, in my Little Favorite Spot That Looks Like This:

Nook!

Nook!

Pretty, right? I am so not complaining.

So, ultimately, I’m working on curriculum development — and trust me, I have NO IDEA how to work on curriculum development. I do not develop curriculums. (Curriculi? Curriculae..? It’s Latin, isn’t it? Someone help me out here.) (Oh! Wait… WordPress is telling me that it’s actually “curricula.” However, WordPress seems to be having a little bit of difficult with how to spell it’s own name — IT’S RIGHT UP TOP THERE, STOP GIVING ME THE RED SQUIGGLIES — so I’m not sure how much stock I’ll be putting into that recommendation.)

Um… So, yeah. Seven minutes until I’ve got to pack it up and get out of here, go home, shower and get to work. Part-time work, that is, with all of the angst and drama and incompetence. Did I say that out loud? I do suppose that I did. Look at me, airing dirty laundry on the Internets.Y’all get no names and faces or places, though, how about that? ;)

Anyway, how were the holidays? Good? Good. Mine were good. A little difficult without Poppy Ernie… We missed him tons. But Christmas was nice and quiet, nonetheless. And oh, the baked goods. I’ll make myself bigger than a house one of these years.

Time’s up!
